Our Rooms

Moon room is set up for babies aged between 6 months and approximately 1 year 6 months. The ratio in this room is one member of staff for every three babies. In Moon room, we follow each baby ’s individual routine from home to help them to comfortably settle in and to guarantee consistency of care.

Babies have the opportunity to play with all our toys and resources throughout the day. We regularly rotate the toys, but babies can always help themselves to their favourites. We provide activities based on the babies’ interests, accordingly, keeping them engaged and helping them to progress. 

Star room is for children aged approximately 1 year to 2 years. The ratio in these room is one member of staff for every five children. In both rooms, the children are usually in the routine of play and activities during the day, with some children having a nap on a nursery sleep mat after lunch (the children can rest or sleep at any time).

The children’s independence is growing daily at this age, so they are encouraged to take on little jobs, for example, giving out the plates at mealtimes or serving their own lunch. The children are still supervised and supported as they learn! We plan activities in accordance to the individual children’s interests, to help them develop and grow.

Eclipse 1 is for children aged approximately from 2 to 3 years old. The ratio in this room is one member of staff for every five children. Eclipse 2 is for children aged approximately from 3 to 5 years old.  In Eclipse, the children are in the routine of learning activities throughout the day. The children have the opportunity to access all our resources throughout the day.

We provide learning activities based on the children’s interests, keeping them engaged and helping them to learn and progress. We also organise occasional trips to enhance their learning and development. We use their learning through play opportunities to get them ready for school.
